As a key member of the Travel Retail APAC team based in Singapore, the Retail Manager will support the Area Sales Manager to develop the business in South East Asia region. The candidate will be responsible to manage beauty consultants, in charge of counter operations and promotions in the assigned Travel Retail doors.
Key Responsibilities: - Implementation & Execution of Retail Excellence to be inline with group’s retail management objectives in the store front.
- Achieve retail sales target and review customer profile and category contribution per location to customize assortment.
- In charge of recruitment and evaluation of beauty consultants. The candidate will be travelling to different locations to perform counter coaching of beauty consultants to keep them abreast of their selling technique and skills.
- Formulate promotion strategies and incentive programs to motivate front line staff.
- Regularly review the counter inventory level ensuring out-of-stocks/low stocks item, or slow moving items are identified.
- Monitor the merchandising, assortments and planograms are respected in the different locations.
- Ensuring availability of sufficient inventory, testers and printed materials on counter.
- Keep abreast of the competitors’ activities and be able to provide counter actions to the Area Manager.
Requirements: - A recognized university Degree.
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience and prior experience in sales or in fashion/beauty industry will have an advantage.
- Good communication skills and highly adaptable to different cultures.
- Strong analytical and organization skills with attention to details.
- Mature, independent, responsible and be able to prioritize numerous tasks
- Strong command of oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Frequent travelling is required (approximately 30%-40%).
- Region can be changed upon market situation.
