As the Business Manager for Operations, the role holder works hand in hand with the internal O&T stakeholders such as the Head of Operations, Head of Departments, Delivery Executives and Competency Leads, as well as stakeholders from across Businesses and other Supporting Functions (such as HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and Control, Compliance, etc.).
The candidate must have the experience and track record of operating as a Business Manager in an Operations organization and has hands-on experience with Financial Management, Workforce Management, Process and Governance and more importantly Strategy and Planning activities. This is a team leader role where he/she will need to build strong relationships and partnerships with the members of the team, O&T functions and other supporting functions, in order to respond to management’s requests.

Financial Management:
- Operations Cost Decision Support
- Track and Manage Operations Division KPIs
- Oversight and Tracking of Operations Level Cost Management Initiatives
- Operations Budgeting and Forecasting
- Operations Cost MIS design and implementation
- Ops Activity Based Unit Costs / KPIs implementation and tracking
- Financials MIS
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodology formation and adoption/ implementation across all BOS Systems
People/Workforce Management:
Resource and Training:
Service Engagement Vendor Management
Staff Issue / Feedback Tracking
Process & Controls Training
Workforce Management and MIS reporting
Office Space Planning / restack coordination
Management of Ops Academy training
Drive Learning Journey per Ops Service Functions (including re-skilling)
Service Engagement staffs Process Management (Benchmarking, Background Checks, Onboarding Support)
Communication and Staff Engagement:
Management of Operations Branding (both internal and external facing)
Divisional Communications including Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), External Media Articles
Staff Engagement Initiatives / Employee Value Proposition Initiatives
Townhalls, Village halls, Skip Level Meetings
Employee Survey Action Plan Tracking
Process Oversight:
Track and support Operations Strategic Initiatives and Work Plan

Manage Procurement needs for Operations (New & Renewals):

Procurement Support / Procurement Service Requests management RFP / RFQ Support
General Operations Support:
Support Head of Operations for strategic presentations and events such as townhall, offsite, etc
Secretariat for management meetings and responsible for tracking and closure of deliverables
Coordinate administrative activities related to general activities (eg. Facilities booking)
QlikView adoption in MIS reporting
Qualifications 8 to 10 years in O&T management experience, preferably in professional / financial services industry, with in depth understanding of the functions of O&T department
5+ years financial P&L ownership, 3+ years executive communication and governance experience. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills, experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management and technical support teams alike * Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the demands of a diverse culture
- Good analytical skills, positive attitude and good learning ability with great attention to detail and multitasking
- Self-motivated, self-starter, and demonstrated ability working independently and under minimum supervision
- Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus. Experienced negotiator and skilled in conflict resolution.
- Prior experience in private banking domain preferred and a definite plus
