Postition Overview
Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our agile development team!
As a member of a team responsible for building foundational services, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of identity service that is leveraged by Autodesk desktop, mobile and web applications for managing authentication, profile and entitlements. The service is one of the key business enablers serving millions of customers every day. You will be working on cutting edge AWS technologies and implementing authentication and authorization related protocols.
Responsibilities: Work effectively as a member of self-organized Agile Team that builds, owns and runs the service
Contribute to all aspects of service development including front-end, back-end, devops and quality
Assist in the operation of the service, e.g. monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging and troubleshooting
Work closely with architect and product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementations
Excellent troubleshooting skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
Minimum Qualifications: BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
More than 5 years of experience building web applications
Experience with ASP.NET MVC / Web API / RESTful API design
Expert level experience with programming languages such as C#/Java
Solid understanding of techniques to achieve high performance, high availability at web scale
Solid understanding of software design and patterns
Committed to quality, including security and performance
Experience with agile methodologies
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong design and coding skills with the ability to pick up new languages, tools and design patterns as needed
Experience with AWS stack and containers is a plus
UI Development experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript
Strong experience with relational data stores
Experience leveraging or contributing to open source projects
