The Nursing Supervisor coordinates patient care activities for the respective shift. Coordinates diagnostic procedures and/or surgeries outside of regular hours. Is responsible as the administrative representative and/or manager in the absence of DNS. She/he needs a working knowledge of the medical/legal rules and regulations as they apply to the organization. She/he is responsible for the overall direction of the nursing personnel. She/he is responsible to the DNS. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision and quality commitment of Good Shepherd Health Care System.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Evidence of continuing education appropriate for a nursing supervisor. Previous supervisory or management experience. Current RN license in the State of Oregon; IV certification; current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CPI certifications.
