Job Description The Supervisor, Sales Planning will help in leading a group of Sales Planners, who serve as frontline support for a dynamic, integrated sales organization and are assigned by category to a pod of Account Managers and Ad Directors. A large part of the Sales Planners' work centers on developing digital and integrated media plans and buy details that ultimately lead to sales campaign success and renewal. In addition to overseeing an assigned group of Sales Planners, the Supervisor must be capable of performing many of the Sales Planner duties as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assign and supervise the work of Sales Planners, ensuring deadlines are met, quality of work is satisfactory, and Sales Planner performance is at an acceptable level.
- Schedule and monitor time and attendance of sales planners
- Provide feedback to Manager, Sales Planning regarding Sales Plannersial forms and other performance evaluation documents
- Refer issues with assigned Sales Plannersrk to Manager, Sales Planning
- Perform Sales Planner responsibilities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: - 2-3 years of related experience
- BS/BA degree is preferred
- Working knowledge of online proposal systems such as Atlas, MediaOcean and Media Visor is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, and sales and data management tools such as Sales Force are also desirable
- Motivated self- starter possessing excellent communications skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
