The Company Our client is a successful creative agency based in Singapore. They are a global independent agency with offices around the world, with a number of awards to their name, they produce some amazing work across not only the region, but globally. Due to their continuing growth in the region, they are now looking for a Creative Director to join and head up their creative team.
The Role As the Creative Director, you'll be working in a fun team with a lot going on and reporting directly into the Managing Director. You'll be taking care of some amazing clients and big brands within the region. Furthermore, you'll be overseeing junior designers and working closely with them and supporting them with designs. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of for all media, creative, video, events and all other creative outputs. This role will be based in Singapore but handling the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities - Invent new ideas for campaigns across both digital and activation/experiential campaigns
- You will need to understand design and smart copy, and recognise fresh approaches to digital
- Must have fully integrated experience across all marketing channels and ideally have production experience
- Responsible for both developing and producing creative designs
- Advocate for the customer in all decisions with the product, engineering, and design teams
- Manage multiple projects at any one time, meet tight deadlines and work with multiple departments within the company across the APAC region
- Strong visual design experience to help apply visual/branding treatments to applications while coordinating with core branding teams
Skills & Qualifications - Minimum 8 years' experience working in design, editorial, advertising, film, events and branded content
- MUST have APAC experience
- Prior experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Deep knowledge and interest in digital, social media, content, and technology.
- Previous experience leading and coaching junior creatives
- The ability to present ideas to senior members of the team and client
- Hands-on experience and willing to role your sleeves up
- To be able to think conceptually and show examples of this in your portfolio
