Key Responsibilities: - Minimum of three years of food service management experience in contract foodservice, or restaurant
- Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
- Able to handle responsibility for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures-follows HACCP standards
- Knowledge of financial (P&L), budgetary, accounting and computational practices
- Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- Ability to produce quality catering events
- ServSafe certified is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
Preferred Qualifications: - Three years experience in food service operations
- Two or four year degree
- Two years progressive hospitality experience is desired
- Demonstrated profit and loss management ability and client relations success is essential
- Must be able to demonstrate high end catering experience
- Requires operations management experience with purchasing knowledge
- Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
