Responsibilities - Drive key talent acquisition services and processes for aligned business areas including:
- Build relationships with all hiring managers and key stakeholders to proactively evaluate workforce plans and talent acquisition needs for the business
- Research and understand the internal and external market for key talent profiles for the areas supported; develop key network relationships (internally and externally) including but not limited to industry agency contacts, industry association, tertiary education sources and network groups.
- Work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners (as required) to confirm specific hiring needs and plans which will include confirmation of the sourcing strategy, sourcing avenues, candidate assessment criteria, assessment measurement tools, interview schedule and participation, as well as interview assessment criteria
- Oversee and ensure that open positions are advertised via appropriate forums (including internal job postings, external statutory and market job boards, social media postings etc)
- Focus on direct sourcing of talent as a priority, and work with panel agency contacts if required, to support sourcing activities.
- Complete pre-screening, including phone and face to face interviews as appropriate, to create candidate shortlists for hiring managers
- Ensure candidate assessment tools are deployed, completed with results collated and interpreted for feedback to the hiring manager
- Oversee the logistical support and arrangements for hiring manager interviews
- Follow-up and collate hiring manager interview feedback to facilitate candidate assessment according to the agreed criteria, and assist the hiring manager to confirm the preferred candidate for offer
- Ensure that all required internal processes and documentation are completed in accordance with Aon’s policy and procedure, that required background checks are completed and in hand prior to release of any conditional or formal offer of employment.
- Collaborate with HR Services team to ensure a smooth transition of the selected candidate to the formal onboarding processes
- Ensure all recruitment activities are accurately recorded in a timely fashion and that business unit activity dashboards are maintained on a regular basis
- Work with aligned hiring managers to implement proactive talent pipeline sourcing, keep track of key talent in the market and execute an appropriate talent engagement plan to connect with and build a relationship with such talent for future needs.
- Consider and implement innovative sourcing strategies for niche and hard to fill roles which may include broader social media strategies and international sourcing avenues
- Assist to design and drive specific strategic initiatives for Aon Singapore and plan to contribute experience and learnings to scale application across Aon Asia including:
- Lead the Internship Campus Recruitment strategy for Aon Singapore and work with local and regional Talent Management team colleagues to execute the plan.
- Develop and facilitate key learning modules designed to build and support hiring manager capabilities, ability to understand key candidate assessment methodologies and Aon’s Employer Brand details.
- Contribute to development and implementation of tactical strategies which support the development Aon’s Employer Brand.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tactical strategies which support Aon Asia’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
Requirements - Tertiary qualification preferred
- Solid experience supporting business talent acquisition needs in either an external sourcing or internal sourcing role
- Previous experience supporting hiring managers within insurance, insurance broking and technology environments
- Experience in development and delivery of training modules and presentations
- Influence, persuasion and negotiation skills
- Analytical, critical thinking and innovative thinking skills
- Strong planning, organising and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to develop, use and promote collaborative relationships within a highly-matrixed organisation, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
