Job Description SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members, for quality, safety, and any additional assignments deemed appropriate, by management, for this position. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability, assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; must be a team player. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience:At least one (1) year experience in the meat industry. Must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields, and USDA regulations. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful Supervisory Skills: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities. Ensure compliance with all humanresource and safety policies, food safety, sanitation and all other duties as determined by management. Special Skills: Team Leader, problem solving, and special projects; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead byexample and motivate the hourly workforce. Travel: Minimal
