Your Role and Responsibilities
The Digital Development Rep is a trained IBM Sales resource with expertise in customer engagement and probing, to understand needs and interest to create a qualified lead.
This resource is connected to IBM systems and Business Partners, they are able to identify and qualify opportunities, close opportunities when appropriate or transfer to opportunity owners according to established brand route-to-market strategies. Often, the first point of Contact.
DDR Role & Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification, Progression, Response to lead progression for marketing campaigns, Sales assist for Digital offerings, Outbound reach for new clients with Sales Plays, Coverage of live chats, inbound inquiries etc. The DDR develops customer inquiries into new opportunities leveraging brand and solution sales skills and solution knowledge, leveraging demos and other collateral.
An Opportunity Identification (OI) role is a digitally enabled sales role that is solely focused on Inbound and/or outbound prospecting. The OI rep's mission is to ensure initial customer interactions happen in minutes with a superior customer experience by a knowledgeable resource. DDRs are not measured on closing business but do have responsibility for BU revenue.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skills /Experience required:
- One to three years of Tele sales experience
- Experience with Digital tools and social tools like Linkedin etc
- Strong prospecting
- Experience interacting with all levels from IT/Business to the C-Suite
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure i.e. Servers and Storage is preferred.
