Eataly's Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for serving as the point of contact for the assigned housekeeping shift, which in turn helps maintain the cleanliness of the store. The supervisor will need to be knowledgeable about housekeeping and dishwashing procedures. This is a hands-on position in a high volume work environment and will require a positive attitude and motivational demeanor.
As an ambassador of Eataly, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for helping to create and maintain a quality and healthy experience for each guest that comes to Eataly.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Serve as the point of contact for the housekeeping team during the entire assigned shift.
- Thoroughly understand Eataly's housekeeping standards and demonstrate that knowledge.
- Assist the Managers with training new team members on each station.
- Clearly recap the efforts of the shift to the Housekeeping Managers and Food Safety Manager.
- Lead a positive and informative pre-shift meeting.
- Thoroughly inspect each team member's assigned station and provide feedback.
- Assist other managers in the building with housekeeping duties.
- Serve as a role model for the team. Able to adhere to Eataly's policies and procedures.
- Provides hands on coverage.
Qualifications: - Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred. Basic computer skills necessary (email, MS Office). Open availability.
- High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of housekeeping experience.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 6-8 hours per day. Will be expected to be mobile and travel as needed to conduct due diligence. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to effectively and positively communicate with team members regarding store needs. Ability to effectively communicate with management.
- Reports to Housekeeping Manager.
