Job Description A key player in the design team in charge of continuously improving the reliability and robustness of new Life Science Instrumentation. Exposure to various life science instrumentations from PCR / qPCR, fluorometers to Bioreactor control units. Learning / training opportunities to enhance skill sets in reliability engineering.
What will you do? In charge of creating and executing the design for reliability strategy for new instrument, consumables product development. Constant application of various reliability test methodologies to help the design team improve the quality of the product at the same time ensure good time to market without sacrificing reliability of the design.
How will you get here?
I. Education
Any engineering degree in hardware related disciplines Mechanical, Electrical, Optics etc
II. Experience
At least 3-5 years of reliability test planning / execution experiences. Experiences working in R&D setup in a bonus.
III. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge in reliability test planning, techniques in apportioning, accelerated life test, analysis of data to generate key reliability statistics (MTBF, reliability etc) a must. CRE certification by ASQ or SQI is a bonus.
