About the opportunity Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act as a Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) on record for the supervision of the works;
Work with the Superintending Officer (SO) and his representative and be responsible for enforcing specifications and codes, and assist SO in managing client’s expectations;
Review and approve the contractor’s engineering design, calculations, drawings and other submissions;
Attend and supervise hardware & software FAT, MOS & RA workshops, control system cutover and instrument replacement, SAT, etc.
Liaise with the client closely to coordinate site activities including plant shutdown request in a life wastewater treatment plant;
Proactively provide periodic site progress updates;
Define and oversee inspection and special testing requirement
About you Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control or equivalent experience (from BCA approved institutions)
Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) shall have at least eight (8) years design and/or site supervision experience in electrical, instrumentation, control, SCADA, PLC and automation fields in the respective discipline in supervising water and/or wastewater infrastructure works
