This Senior Manager position is critical for the client, and will report directly to the General Manager of the resort. The successful candidate will be required to secure new clients and manage the existing corporate accounts in Singapore.
Client Details Our client is an investment group with diversified business operations across property development, hospitality and manufacturing. Their hospitality arm operates hotels, resorts and country clubs in Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia and US. This Senior Manager position will be based in Singapore, and service an existing resort in Malaysia by managing their Singapore Corporate Sales portfolio.
Description In this role, you will also be challenged on:
- Directing all activities on PR, advertising, sales & marketing campaigns within the Singapore portfolio
- Analyzing competitor activities, market trends and identifying growth opportunities for the resort
- Providing advisory and support service to the General Manager in meeting the overall financial goals of the resort
- Developing and reviewing rate structures or promotions based on market conditions
- Managing the recruitment and training of potential sales associates in the expansion of the department
Profile The successful applicant will possess: - Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in hotel management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of corporate sales & marketing experience in the industry - background in resort sales is preferred
- Good knowledge of both the Singapore & Malaysia hospitality market
- Highly independent worker who is self-motivated to achieve pre-defined KPIs
- Excellent communication and networking abilities
- Flexibility to travel to Malaysia whenever required
