INVISTA is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Intermediates business analysis and reporting team located in Wichita, KS. This position partners with the Intermediates leadership team to develop key knowledge systems, proactively communicate trends and opportunities, and actively innovate. Additionally, this role offers interactions with both commercial and site leaders globally.
A successful candidate will operate with a sense of urgency and possess the ability to work under tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and accountability. This position is fulfilling to a candidate who thinks economically, critically, and strategically.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Develop and communicate analysis, key performance drivers, and opportunities at a product line and site level to drive long-term profitability
- Create efficient knowledge systems to support daily and long-term decision making
- Provide financial analysis that track progress and drive behavior to achieve businesssion
- Provide leadership in economic thinking and framing
- Identify and drive innovation across business and capabilities
- Business finance partner for Intermediates businesses and capabilities
- Effectively present results of work to leadership team in both written and oral formats
What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: - Bacheloregree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance from an accredited college or university
- 4+ years of accounting, commercial development, or financial analysis experience
- 1+ years of experience with financial modeling and / or analysis
- Experience using Excel to create pivot tables and for data modeling / analysis
- Available for domestic/international travel as needed
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry
- Experience working in an international organization
- Masteregree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
- Working knowledge & background in a major ERP / Financial System, preferred experience in SAP
- Experience supervising a team
