Randstad Technologies Nashville,TN is looking for an Information Systems Security Analyst to fill a long term contract position. In this role the contractor will be responsible for the overall implementation of security policies, programs, and necessary technologies for the Eligibility Determination Systems in compliance with existing health care laws and provisions. the IS Security Analyst will be a member of a core team responsible for coordinating all IT systems development and operation for the Eligibility Determination System. In addition to providing expert advice, devise strategic security plans, participate in the implementation of security controls and technologies, the IS Security Analyst will also work closely with third party software and hardware vendors as well as other service providers to ensure that the agency is in full compliance with Health Information Technology related laws. On a daily basis this person will ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of IT systems, processes, and data in line with state and federal health IT laws and standards. Coordinate periodic security assessment projects and devise remediation plans in line with organizational health IT processes and standards. Coordinate IT Incident and Event Monitoring activities. Monitors information systems operations, activities, and functions within area of expertise and makes recommendations for improvements in overall planning, efficiency and quality.
