Assist in managing and controlling receiving systems, hygiene procedures to continually improve the quality of supply. Ensure correct quantity receiving as per the needs of the business and orders placed on correct agreed prices.

tasks and Responsibilities » Ensure that the supplies are correct as per the order and business needs and are as per the purchase order.
» Maintain internal controls over the requisitioning and issuing of items; direct the delivery of supplies to appropriate departments or storage areas; and ensure reports and records are updated and forwarded to the appropriate contact for payment/ further processing, located on hotel policies and procedures.
» Ensure cleanliness and organization in all work areas
» Coordinate with Quality control & respective departmental heads to ensure the receiving of standard quality of supplies.
» Ensure that all the security check procedures are followed by vendors while entering the supplies in premises for delivery.
» To check all the supplies are in good condition upon receiving & deliver immediate information to supplier and procurement department in case any rejection/defect in same.
» Acknowledging the supplies to vendors on receiving of proper documents in respect.
» Prompt and quick dispatch of the material to respective kitchens, departments and stores.
» Ensuring great quality of the material.
» Strict control over the expiry date items.
» To ensure beverage store items are properly recorded and documented on timely manner.
» Strict implementation of the CSA and achieve 100% score in CSA Audit of Purchasing & Receiving category
» Performs related tasks and special tasks assigned by Manager of Finance & Business Support.
» Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments in matters concerning receiving related matters and internal control
» contact with Procurement Manager and Department Heads on purchasing problems
» Attend to vendor, Department Heads and other employees’ enquiries in relation to receiving of goods or services Accountcapability
» Ensure compliance to the IHG policies, procedures and statutory requirement
» Maintains confidentiality at all times and maintains strict practice of office & store lock up and security of information.
» Coordinate and administrate in CSA Audit
» Reports directly to and communicates with the Procurement Manager & Manager Finance & Business Support on all matters pertaining to purchasing and financial controls respectively.
» Performs other tasks as required
