We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Fixed Income Securities trading, accounting or operations to assist in the developing of the Calypso trading system. Experience with mortgage backed securities, asset backed securities, foreign bond markets and emerging markets would be a plus. Responsibilities include the assistance in writing specifications, performing functional testing of the application and providing internal training.
Responsibilities - Understand market requirements by interacting with customers, company's customer support people and Calypso Professional Services Consultants.
- Produce product requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate work of software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of a product that meets market requirements.
- Write and/or review product documentation.
- Train sales people and sales support people on the features of the product and how best to demonstrate and sell it.
- Participate in the sales process by demonstrating product features and presenting the product roadmap.
- Perform functional and system testing.
Skills & Requirements - B.S. - Master in Business/Finance or Technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in trading or supporting Fixed Income trading.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
