Turnkey Test Engineering System Management & Development

Brief introduction:

A data-server & programming-centric role to develop automation in server maintenance and new function for an existing web-based system to facilitate engineer's management of equipment at subcontractors.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Develop automation (system self-monitoring) on data-server maintenance (eg. CPU / HDD / Memory / Network Utilization, Task scheduler run-state), and/or

2. Develop a new function on existing web-based system, covering:

a. Input of raw data from external source (eg. FTP, files) into server database for depository

b. Setting up / streamlining existing web-based user interface for user to interact & extract data

c. Setting up web-based bar charts / line charts / tables / reports, for user to view/analyze data

d. Setting up automated routine jobs to consolidate data, generate reports and email to user

e. Setting up system checkers & email-alert mechanisms, if data met preset criteria

Qualifications

Preferred experience / knowledge in:

1. MySQL, database schema

2. Java

3. HTML, CSS

4. JSP, Servlet

5. VBA
