1. Strategy Formulation & Execution
- Business lead to manage end-to-end of initiatives undertaken by the business to deliver a Branch of the Future distribution network, including engaging multiple stakeholders to formulate strategy and project managing to delivery
- Drives the transition and transformation to a new model for ATM operating model in Singapore, and engaging stakeholders to analyse, recommend and execute for an optimized ATM footprint
- Ability to systematically and structurally manage a project and provide regular updates to senior management
- Introduces contextualized impactful analysis and financial simulations to aid strategic discussions
- Maintains on-going metrics monitoring and ensure post project actions such as performance tracking are duly performed
2. Agile Champion
- Drives broad basing of Agile application within the business and organization
- Point person in business to prepare and coach Agile teams for optimal efficiency and effectiveness
- Conducts mentorship and training to fellow Citibankers on Agile and its application
- Liaise with Country Agile Champion to introduce current best-practices to the Agile practitioners in the business
3. Innovations
- Works with Global, Regional and Innovation Lab to review, conceptualize and bring forth innovation elements to support the business
- Includes providing external market information and competitor analysis in a timely basis and driving such discussions with related stakeholders to evaluate merits and feasibility using data
- Drives discussions with executional partners to facilitate for a speed-to-market delivery for the business
- Collaborates with the regional office and innovation lab to develop and prioritize innovation features among regional countries for functional features that make business sense to Singapore
4. Audit and Ongoing Compliance
Ensures that all risk and controls arising from the project management are duly addressed and documented, including full compliance to Citi Policies, and obligations / commitments to regulatory bodies.
Owner for compliance related activities to ensure timely completion of all required actions necessary for compliance.
Leads, drives and facilitates business level audits preparation and during audits with best practices
5. Business Support and Process Excellence
Supports the business in reporting regular and periodic metrics update for senior discussions * Evaluates current business processes to determine opportunities for standardization, centralization and scalability.
- Manages multiple concurrent projects that make for streamlining and higher efficiency
- Manages end to end implementation of any technical, branch processes or customer enhancements
Quantify merits of proposed re-engineering process and recommend resource allocation and priorities
6. Expense Management and Re-Engineering
- Works closely with Finance and stakeholders to meet business goals by identifying, evaluating and executing expense drivers to optimize expenses
- Leads and complete negotiations on inter and intra business charge-out exercises
Qualifications - Graduate, with at least 12 years of experience in Consumer Banking
- Demonstrated experience in project management and systematic approach in problem solving in large-scale process innovation and/or change management projects
- Agile/Scrum practitioner experience would be required
- Proven track record of consultative and collaborative relationship management and ability to influence multiple stakeholders effectively, and gaining support for new ideas and approaches
- Strong leadership of ability to take charge, lead and drive all functions to deliver a common objective with exceptional result
- Decisive, capable of thinking through and trouble-shooting nuanced and complex situations
- Perform with a sense of urgency without compromising on quality of work and comfortable with ambiguity
- A committed team player who is also able to work independently
- Driven, analytical, strong appreciation of processes, detail oriented
- Highly competent with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
