ABB's Electrification business offers a wide-ranging portfolio of products, digital solutions and services, from substation to socket, enabling safe, smart and sustainable electrification. Offerings encompass digital and connected innovations for low- and medium-voltage, including EV infrastructure, solar inverters, modular substations, distribution automation, power protection, wiring accessories, switchgear, enclosures, cabling, sensing and control. You will execute Service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines in Singapore. Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will act as the technical point person between customers and extended ABB teams.
Your responsibilities • Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.
- Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions.
- Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews.
- Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment and methods.
- Some domestic travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.

Your background • ITE, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience as service engineer in Electrical Engineering (e.g., LV, MV, UPS, EV charging, and power conditioning equipment.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP system and AutoCAD.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skill.
