Review current manufacturing processes or process inputs with a view to ensuring uniformity and standardization throughout the NOV ISE Operations Loyang site.
- Work with the various cross functional teams to continuously improve and maintain manufacturing processes.
- Generation and on-going maintenance of standard operating procedures for the manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.
- Problem solve produce or process issues
- Using best industry practice, develop and improve the manufacturing processes to produce;
- On-time-delivery improvements
- Create, present and rollout changes to manufacturing processes across the NOV ISE Operations Loyang site, this is to be done in a controlled manner applying project management methodologies.
- Develop, manage and maintain information and models to monitor performance across the business.
- Lead quality circles to guide and empower employees to identify improvements thereby adopting change more readily.
- Apply 8D methodology to resolve problems and make improvements.
- Support engineering with design for manufacturing activities.
- Lead and support manufacturing issue resolution.
- Assist the Global manufacturing specialist in creating a standard ISE Operations manufacturing policy / user guide to enable further expansion of NOV through natural growth or acquisition.
Qualifications: - Honours Degree in Manufacturing or equivalent
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
- Experience in a similar position
- Working knowledge of low high variance manufacturing
- Good knowledge of modern CNC machining techniques
- Experience with CAD programs a plus
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working knowledge ERP Systems
- Effective management skills
- Master problem solver familiar with root cause analysis techniques
