Description This position is for an Analyst for the Joint Trauma Analysis and Preventions of Injury in Combat (JTAPIC) Dismounted Incident Analysis Team (DIAT) element located at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), Charlottesville, VA. The successful candidate must have a background as either an All-Source Intelligence Analyst or as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Collects, validates, analyzes, and integrates all-source intelligence information relevant to enemy actions taken against United States, allied, and partnered forces during dismounted combat incidents.
- Identifies/assesses enemy weapons employed, force disposition, fighting positions, engagement ranges, objectives, and enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed against friendly forces.
- Populates enemy and weapons data fields in JTAPIC Integrated Database
- Identifies gaps in available enemy information required for analysis of dismounted combat incidents and initiates collection efforts to fill them.
- Applies Intelligence and/or EOD subject matter expertise in support of event-specific and aggregate analysis of dismounted combat incident data.
- Provides intelligence expertise and analysis in support of JTAPIC-directed analytical efforts in response to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Participates in JATPIC working groups and other meetings as directed.
Responsibilities: - Maintains/ensures accuracy and integrity of intelligence data entered into the JTAPIC Integrated Database.
- Provides subject matter expertise relevant to enemy weapons and TTPs employed against U.S. dismounted combat elements.
- Works with other project areas and partner organizations inside the JTAPIC program to integrate intelligence data with medical, operations, and materiel data in support of holistic analytical efforts.
Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - TS SCI is required for this position. Must possess a current DoD Top Secret security clearance with TS SCI eligibility. Current TS SCI preferred.
- Bacheloregree. Degree requirement may be waived by designated representative based upon review of resume by customer and strong job related experience or special skills.
- Must possess a minimum of three years of experience as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst or EOD Technician.
- Must possess strong research and writing skills and ability to effectively operate as a member of an analytical team.
- Must be proficient at briefing large audiences and communicating information in a clear, concise, logical manner.
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite, basic computer applications, and operations and intelligence analysis and reporting systems and databases.
Desired Qualifications Recent tactical experience, preferably in support of Infantry or Special Operations Forces (SOF).
