The Company Our client is a successful digital marketing agency based in Singapore. They are a networked agency with offices around the world. With a number of awards to their name, they produce some amazing work across the region and globally. Due to their continuing growth, they are now looking for an experienced UI/UX/Interaction Designer to join their passionate, agile and creative team in Singapore.
The Role As the UI/UX/Interaction Designer, you play an important role in understanding our clients' needs in order to create design solutions that are usable and coherent across multiple platforms and channels (e.g. web, mobile apps, evolving services such as chatbots and voice-assistants). You will be heading up the design and delivery of wireframes, user stories and mock-ups optimized for a range of interfaces. This role will be reporting directly into the Executive Creative Director
Key Responsibilities - Work with key clients to create concepts to specific ideas into useful, delightful product features
- Support clients in designing holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant and beautiful
- Provide mentorship to members of the design team, constantly pushing the quality of work.
- Advocate for the customer in all decisions with the Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
- Partner with Product Engineers, and the members of the design and research teams to create consistency for the user experience of a product from conception until launch.
Skills & Qualifications - 5+ years' experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or equivalent. Proficient with UI/UX design tasks and a good knowledge of usability principles and best practices
- Have an eye for visual design. Able to differentiate good and bad designs as well as direct the visual design of the web and mobile applications
- Strong visual design experience to help apply visual/branding treatments to applications while coordinating with core branding teams
- Demonstrated experience in designing responsive wireframes, components, gestures, interactions, skinning and animations
- Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and Axure
