Overview / Responsibilities The Singapore Wood office is seeking suitable candidates for the role of Legal Counsel to cover maternity. Key duties include:
- Providing legal advice on all issues arising during the lifetime of a project
- Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Bribery, and Anti-Corruption advisory work, investigations, and training
- Mergers, acquisitions, and disposals of businesses
- General corporate and commercial matters
- Employment matters
- Corporate secretarial services for the various entities in South East Asia
- Advising on disputes and managing litigation and arbitration
Skills / Qualifications - A degree in Law from a common law jurisdiction
- Admitted to practise law in at least 1 common law jurisdiction
- 3 to 5 years relevant post qualification experience
- International and / or regional experience, gained either in private practice or in an in-house legal department
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate to / at all levels of the organisation is essential
- Confidence and the ability to work independently is a must
