Senior Analyst / Associate Manager, Government Pricing
Position Description: - As part of the Government Pricing team, accurately perform and/or assist in any of the calculations for Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (NFAMP), Texas Net Price, 340B Public Health Service (PHS) Ceiling Price, Federal Ceiling Price (FCP), and Unit Rebate Amount (URA)timely and accurately.
- Develop and maintain robust documentation to support calculations, including policies, reasonable assumptions, SOPs and work instructions.
- Review calculation results for internal consistency with systems and methodologies. Compare and monitor trending of current period results to prior periods. Perform a detailed analysis of identified variances.
- Provide analysis and support for ongoing and ad-hoc initiatives for commercial, Federal, Medicare, and Medicaid programs, including system implementation/upgrades.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms. Prioritize activities with sound judgment and present information in a clear and logical way.
- Identify areas of improvement in calculation, data validation, and result review processes. Clearly describe and quantify benefits of suggested improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Government Pricing and provide and/or support subject matter expertise training where necessary.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability of being goal-directed, persistent, driven to achieve objectives and accountability for meeting commitments. Also recognizes the contributions of teammates and peers and creates an atmosphere of openness and trust.
- Bacheloregree in business administration, economics, finance, data science or related field. MBA and prior consulting experience preferred.
- 3-5 yearsrk experience in a related field.
- Must be able to work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Experience using various tools (e.g. ModelN/Revitas, Excel, Tableau, Alteryx Powerpoint, etc.)
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on excellent time management, followough, and issue recognition abilities.
- Understanding of processes across functional areas including Channel/Trade, Commercial Contracting, Government Contracting, Patient Assistance, Commercial Rebates, Government Rebates, and Chargebacks.
- Ability to inform decisioners through incisive analysis and persuasive communication
- Strong working knowledge of Government Pricing calculations, including discount reallocation
- Intellectual curiosity to look at a problem from all sides in order to recognize issues and opportunities and recommend solutions and courses of action
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
