POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Analyst - Managed Care supports the BSHSI system-wide top line net revenue improvement initiatives as a key member of the managed care analytical support team. The position is responsible for providing project leadership as designated for certain of the department's activities, including managed care performance reporting and trend analysis, strategic pricing evaluations, budget analytics, contract management and contract modeling analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in information systems, business administration, finance, accounting or related discipline.
2. At least 5 years' experience in an analytic/data analysis environment, with substantial experience in the use of healthcare data and the application of appropriate analyses and reporting
3. Experience in analytics or medical economics department or combination of related consulting experience.
4. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills;
5. Experience in data management/data operations/data analysis in a SAS and SQL based environment.
6. Experience building dashboards, preferably using Tableau
