Business Analyst (AS400)

ektello is looking for a Business Analyst for one of our top multimedia clients in Universal City, California. Our client boasts an impressive portfolio of news and entertainment television networks, world-renowned theme parks, a prominent motion picture company, and much more
Responsibilities - Provides production support to end-users including troubleshooting issues, building query reports, providing user training and performing user profile maintenance.
- Participates in projects to perform tasks like requirement gathering, design, testing and training.
- Maintains documentations, IT Tickets and Task Lists to track progress of tasks.
- Performs SOX Access and Infrastructure Reviews and Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Prepares status reports and other reports as required by managements.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor' s degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Working knowledge of IBM AS400 i-Series is a must.
- Working knowledge of SQL and IBM query is a must.
- Advance knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and MS Project required.
- Financial Background is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills and strong customer interaction skills.
- Excellent business analysis skills.
- Infinium Fixed Asset Application Support experience is highly preferred.
- AS400 programming knowledge or experience (RPG, CL) is highly preferred.
- IBM AS400 WebSphere, JAVA Application Support experience is preferred.
- IBM Client Asset, Show Case Query, Quest View experience is preferred.
