The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
- Support the talent strategy and employee value proposition for the IG Programme
- Lead initiatives that relate to design, attraction, selection, development and deployment for the Bank's global IG and Gormal Internship Programme
- Responsible for the end to end management of 'on-programme' development requirements for all graduate and intern programmes
- Evolve/improve the development strategy for the Bank's main graduate initiatives including:
- Annual IG International Induction Programme (IIP)
- Strengths development agenda
- International rotations programme and feedback process
- Annual performance and reward cycle
- IG International Development Programme (IDP)
- Upholding the Programme principals of fair and equal treatment, individualisation, strengths-based development and gratitude
- Contribute to the global marketing campaign for Graduate and Intern selection with the agency partner.
- Responsible for design and delivery of the International Induction Programme and the International Development Programme
- Contribute to the Graduate Alumni talent strategy including CSR activities and the annual Gratitude Exchange fundraiser
- Develop content for IG comms and internal stakeholders (including annual impact reports)
- Organise key council/committee submissions/sessions (e.g. IG Programme Talent Council)
- Collaboration with HR partners across businesses and COEs (e.g. Learning, PRB) on various initiatives and programme direction
Business
- Responsible for the end-to-end 'on programme' talent experience of IG and Intern hires partnership with business stakeholders across the Bank
- Ensuring continual engagement with senior business stakeholders
- Responsible for collaboaration with businesses to determine hiring requirements for future years in alignment with strategy people agendas and priorities.
- Responsible for learning programme design including rotations, learning objective, performance feedback and P3 processes for all 'on programme' and recently deployed IGs
- Responsible for the global deployment process to secure all 'on programme' IGs permanent roles
- Responsible for updates with key stakeholders and business MTs on key business concerns related to the Graduate Talent proposition
- Lead activities and initiatives to maximise business outcomes from the Talent Management Team
- Manage, develop and own key vendor relationships to accelerate and support our graduate talent value proposition and offerings.
- Consult with people leaders and management to understand and prioritise critical skills required to support ongoing business development and growth
People and Talent
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
- Mentor junior team members with a particular focus on solution resolution and stakeholder management
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high standards
- Develop capacity models to ensure the team is properly resourced and appropriately and efficiently staffed to meet key deliverables and objectives.
Processes, Risk, Governance and Conduct
- Manage IG Cost Centres and Budget Process through collaboration with graduate talent and finance partners
- The ability to interpret relevant financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
- Responsible for delivering effective governance, oversight and controls in the team / programme, and if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Manage the global exception processes for all on graduate programme cross-border moves, role fungibility, welfare and performance issues
- Redevelop and maintain the IG Programme Global Standards and governance frameworks to support the refreshed Graduate Talent proposition
