A leading international trading firm is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their Asia team. This is an independent contributor role.

Your new role

This is a Senior Credit Risk Analyst position within an international commodities trading firm. You are expected to perform independent credit assessment and approvals on trade transactions and function as the main partner to internal stakeholder on Credit Risk related matters. It is also your responsibility perform internal control and monitoring to ensure trades are in accordance to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills to ensure effective partnership with clients, traders and other internal stakeholders. As the subject-matter expert for Credit-related matters, it is essential that you have strong understanding of credit policies and processes in order to take on an advisory role for other functions.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have at least 5 - 8 years' Credit Analyst experience in an international trading house or banking (commodities portfolio), as with:

• Strong expertise in international trade finance practices and banking products
• Excellent Credit Analysis and Financial Analysis skills to perform quality credit review and approval independently
• Understanding of commodities trading, preferably in physical commodities
