ESSENTIAL DUTIES: A Senior Business Analyst has experience in the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns.
Must Have: 5 years or more experience and bachelor's degree.
Experience in analysis of IT business and information environment, activities, and events.
Experience in finding trends, errors and reviewing data with report writing skills
Some knowledge of system development life cycle, project management methodologies.
Knowledge of data analytics, computing cost vs. benefit assessments while considering benefits from a technical and business process perspective.
Prefer to have
Experience writing business requirements and working on business teams.
Previous history writing or supporting BRDs, BUCs, and experience with Rational Suite Software.
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Qualifications Healthcare experience required
Bachelors degree.
5 years experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
The following skills are nice to have:
Related Certification (i.e. CSM, PMP, CAPM, CSSGB).
Experience in cost management/analytics.
Knowledge of Rational Team Concert or other Requirements Management Tool.
VA experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
