Responsibilities: - Ensure timely, quality CDD review and risk assessment of new BOS Singapore-booked accounts and Segment C accounts.
- Advise front office and business units on client onboarding matters such as deficiencies of KYC information and documentation for onboarding.
- Review new business relationships with Independent Asset Managers and Referral Intermediaries.
- Screen counterparties for business units.
- Identify gaps and implement on-boarding controls and system/process enhancement that are fit for purpose and to address current and future requirements in a rapidly changing regulatory environment and an evolving AML landscape, in line with industry best practices.
- Assist Head of Client Onboarding and Deputy Head of Client Onboarding in the discharge of the discharge of their duties as required from time to time.
- Identify gaps and implement on-boarding controls and system/process enhancement that are fit for purpose and to address current and future requirements in a rapidly changing regulatory environment and an evolving AML landscape, in line with industry best practices.
Qualifications Requirements: - University degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent, or higher education;
- 3 to 8 years of years of KYC/AML experience, preferably in the Private Banking onboarding space
- Willingness to take on a diverse product range and to leverage personal experience and skills into new areas;
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to the risks and suspicious activities typical of private banking clients;
- Familiar with excel and preparation of statistics for reporting;
- Outstanding communication skills;
- Self-motivated personality with the ability to make things happen;
- Ability to work independently, determine priorities and meet deadlines;
- Meticulous and conscientious;
