Position Description Overview
First Data is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead product development and innovation initiatives for Digital Commerce products, including Digital Wallets, Fraud, Payments, Gift, and Loyalty services provided to large, national and global merchant digital applications. The Business Analyst role is responsible for feature and technology analysis, epic requirements, and detailed user story requirements for Agile product development. The position is located in Atlanta, with HQ in Sandy Springs. The position is client facing and acts as the grand collaborator across business, product, technical, and operational functional groups. The right candidate is self-driven, comfortable leading people, clients and large scale initiatives, is curious about technology and can drive to and manage scope. The role requires strong communication and organization skills and has a proven track record assessing, defining and executing on business requirements in an Agile environment in Digital and/or Payments/ Commerce industries. The team is a small, hands-on, highly interactive group that supports each other for the collective benefit of our clients and our Digital Commerce services.

While this is a product management role, it is expected that the individual thinks and operates in an to endnner, designing and developing the right customer experience across shop, buy, and use. The individual will also be expected to influence other functions in the organization to drive to the right overall user experience.
Job Requirements - Defines and documents business, functional and user experience requirements for the most complex and strategic product initiatives Defines and documents use cases, epics, user stories, consumer journey, and functional flows with positive and negatives flows and acceptance criteria for testing Leads team, client, vendor and partner reviews to elicit and iterate requirements and retrieve approvals, including workshops, site visits, and meetings Evaluates and translates business need into comprehensive requirements, reconcile conflicts and gain collective buy in throughout versions Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner and assists in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules Create training materials for internal and external stakeholders Serves as SME on initiatives throughout and after the project Owns the delivery of the product as defined, where this role is accountable for ensuring the product delivered matches the defined requirements, including test support and sign off Track and report against progress with quantitative and qualitative metrics
- The individual will be expected to engage with clients directly, uncovering latent needs and consulting clients to on solutions that deliver value and drive adoption. By engaging with consumers, industry leaders and clients early and often during the product cycle, this individual will get us to better products much faster.
- The individual will be required to collaborate with product development, product marketing, sales teams, business development, program management, compliance, information security, legal, and other groups to be successful. The individual will be expected to influence people throughout these areas at multiple levels of the organization to the right end goal for First Data. Must have the ability to manage many initiatives at once, while progressively delivering.
- They will be part of and manage a team who will be required to move fast in an ambiguous environment. It will be critical to provide some structure and constant direction to keep the team moving in the right direction. This will be a very hands-on role, where each person is expected to p in the details, yet leaders will need to mentor and develop team members as well. Strong, consistent and continual communication across the team and clients is required to deliver high quality services to market as quickly and effectively as possible.
