Key Responsibilities Prepare economic analysis and forecasts for ASEAN economies (except Japan and China) with particular focus on Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia
Write extensively on the region, providing views on data and macro-economies and the region, in English
Contribute to global research notes
Maintain and update economic data bases
Prepare analytical presentations for wide range of internal and external clients
Work closely with other economists, strategists, sales and traders
Respond to ad-hoc client requests, and
Conduct group presentations and one-on-one meetings for internal and external clients.

Qualifications Specific Qualifications Required Advanced Degree in Economics
At least 8 years of work experience in research for a financial institution or equivalent
In depth knowledge of ASEAN economies
Knowledge and application of econometric techniques
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Knowledge of statistical/econometric packages (e.g. R, Matlab, EViews)
