Client Technology
The client Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Client Wealth Management business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Client Wealth Management Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and VB.Net.
Position Description The Tech BA (Business Analyst) will be assigned to manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform requirements. He/She must review/understand business requirements documented in BRD's (Business Requirements Documents) and then develop SRS's (Software Requirements Specification). The Tech BA must work with their counterparts, Business BA's, to understand BRD's, in addition to the dev team, to understand technical feasibility. The Tech BA must resolve any open questions with business, ensure development teams are equipped with the information to develop their solution, and support QA/UAT from a functional requirements perspective.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills · Write unambiguous, verified functional requirements to a testable level (functional and non-functional)
· Work with SMEs to model systems, user interface design, and prototyping, decision tables/trees, data flows
· Support SMEs in data definition and mapping tasks, good understanding of data management principles with a particular understanding of data mapping and transformation.
· Support with the business case, requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis, and preparation of functional design documents
· Experience in working in an Agile-like environment with focus on rapid prototyping while maintaining dependencies from other teams who are not agile
· Coordinate with QA team to incorporate new functional items into regression suite
· Support functional testing and raise issues accordingly
· Adhere to CR process for approved changes by updating requirements and socializing with key stakeholders (i.e. DEV, QA, UAT and business team)
· Update project documentation such as jira story boards, regression and production check-out scripts
· Understanding of the financial services industry with a particular focus on 'sell-side'/retail.
Desired Skills · Understanding of CRM platforms and capabilities including but not limited to contact management, campaign management, opportunity tracking
· Experience in transformation from account-centric to party-centric functionality and integrating CRM to the financial services eco-system a plus
