Competitive Intelligence (CI)/Tableau Analyst

- The CI / Tableau Analyst provides valuable competitive information for our VBM market team and sales force. This is accomplished by providing information on:
- Competitorsoduct features, performance, financial stability, management team, customer base and customers attitudes
- Data to help the sales force counter competitive claims
- Data to promote Verizon products and services more effectively during sales presentations
- Monitoring competitors advertising and marketing campaigns and alert our sales force to competitive actions
- Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop a Tableau database / dashboard linking our external competitive intelligence data and our internal business intelligence warehouse systems. This would include:
- Requirements gathering
- Beta test versions
- Gathering feedback and continual maintenance of dashboard
- Training internal stakeholders on Tableau reporting
- Research, monitor, report and analyze information and data on major VBM markets
- Develop special reports for ad hoc requests from senior management and field personnel in a timely manner
- Collect, interpret, and communicate industry, competitive, and market trends
- Consult with internal customers to determine and help prioritize competitive intelligence secondary research needs
- Perform other market/competitive intelligence tasks as needed
