Job Description :

As a Price Cost Analyst Intern , you will be responsible for complex supplier proposals within the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) division of Lockheed Martin (LM). Responsibilities include:

Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.

Confer daily with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price.

Prepare reports and charts that present findings. In this role you are responsible to negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.

Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties.

This position requires travel, on average 20-30% domestically and internationally.

Basic Qualifications

Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in finance, supply chain, accounting or related

Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles

Ability to conduct fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators

Ability to utilize analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings

Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment

Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Work, and PowerPoint

Ability to travel approximately 20% of time
