Our client is looking for a Business Analyst Intermediate for a 12 month contract located in El Dorado Hills, CA.
The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables and activities while simultaneously working with various teams while meeting deadlines. Provides complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data from various inputs in support of large integration project, across two key organizations, and cross-functional teams. Works cross-functionally in analyzing data, and developing output to meet a variety of stakeholders needs. Provides analytical support for multiple, complex, deliverables simultaneously, changes management activities and supports project manager with managing work plans, risks/issues and timelines; coordinates with internal and external sources. Creates presentations for various levels of management. Works under limited supervision, using established procedures. Advanced knowledge of automated systems in a production or operations environment. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex cross-functional data and inputs related to project, using statistical analysis methodology. Working knowledge of and ability to perform analyses such as, GAP analysis, process mapping, root-cause analysis, risk analysis Advanced knowledge of related software applications. Advanced level interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Highly developed math, analytical and problem-solving skills and use of analytical tools (e.g. Survey Monkey, Mini Tab, Excel graphs). Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Change management principles, practices, techniques and tools
- Prior Healthcare experience in business analyst capacity with a focus on change management
- Prior experience with large scale system migration projects
- Prior experience with Project management and familiarity with SDLC and Project management tools and practices
- Ability to interface and effectively communicate with business and IT and leaders across two organizations
- Ability to ingest large amounts of data and information and assess, perform gap analysis, summarize and report out on findings/learnings using different Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.
- Familiarity with web-based tools and organization of files/data within SharePoint preferred
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years Business Analyst experience in a Managed Care, Healthcare environment: experience with Medicare and Medi-Cal medical plans, preferred
Education: 4 Year Bachelor Degree in relevant field from an accredited university preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with Change Management tools/templates (Prosci certification preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (excel, word, PPT, outlook) and MS Project (preferred)
- Strong written skills and communication experience
- Analyze large amounts of data and summarize in consumable format
- Ability to work with multiple individuals/teams
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
