Verizon Telematics is looking for a IAM Security Analyst to assist in the operation of an identity and access management solution that will be used for managing the users life cycle and customer access.
Grants access to personnel via the appropriate application of Roles, Security Policies, Authentication and Authorization Parameters, Access Filters, and Approval Workflows. Provides overall operations and technical support for Access Management processes and systems. Works closely with team managers to ensure that all users have the appropriate and authorized access they need to perform their job duties. Also work on development tasks as needed for the IAM platform.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Support single sign-on authentication for our internal and external web portals and applications.
- Design, develop, test and implement identity and access management solutions and evaluate products. Maintain knowledge of IAM applications and functional areas entering access and identity into the IAM application.
- Maintains documentation on the IAM systems technical configuration, contacts, and functionality. Contributes and maintains common troubleshooting tips in the designated knowledge base.
- Serves as a Tier-II support resource, engaging other team resources as necessary and as defined by support processes.
- Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and scheduling system patches, upgrades and updates. Follows department change request processes.
- Problem-solving skills and capabilities to resolve IAM application, user account, and IAM server issues.
- Ability to perform analysis on all aspect of identity and access management. Utilizes technical knowledge to ask relevant questions during systems analysis so that identity and access management is integrated effectively, correctly, and efficiently.
What we're looking for... Basic Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in a related Identity and Access Management role required.
- 1-3 years of experience with LDAP/Directory Services technologies required.
- Exposure to open standards development including XML, XSLT, SOAP, AJAX, and Java/J2EE preferred
- Able to solve common design and development problems
- Able to apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Preferred/Optional Skills:
- Bachelors in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
- Experience with Ping and Active Directory preferred.
- Experience with Okta and ForgeRock preferred.
- CISSP, SANS, and other security related certifications a plus.
Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. Employee is occasionally required to use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch and lift up to 10 lbs.
