**Job Summary** The SDS team provides analytic support across Apple's lines of business, applying data science and machine learning to impact Apple. The team develops and supports analytical models that make real-time and forensic actions to optimize Appleusiness and improve customer experience. Quantitative business analysts work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data often requires an evaluation of intangibles. They exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and create formal networks involving coordination among groups.
**Key Qualifications** - A qualified candidate will have strong data analytic skills (Python, SQL or similar language) and a solid grasp of data analysis. Key activities include:* 5+ years of experience

Quantitative business analysts partner with our data science team to analyze complex business problems and issues using internal and external data sources to provide insight to decision-makers. They identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to drive business changes. Analysts construct forecasts, define process, develop recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
