The Jr. Analyst, Ad Sales Research is responsible for the maintenance and evaluation of numerous data sources that track FNG Networks and competition. Duties include providing audience tracking and trending reports to Ad Sales management; distributing daily and weekly reports highlighting network/program performance; effectively responding to ad hoc information requests from Ad Sales; assisting the Manager and VP of Research in development of various analysis projects; and maintaining and updating all research database systems.
Responsibilities Provide audience tracking and trending reports to Ad Sales management through monitoring and analyzing various research database applications.
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly reports highlighting relevant performance of network core competitors in order to enable network performance to be utilized in positioning FNG networks in negotiating rates.
Maintain and update all database systems utilized in daily analysis in order to ensure that the most current and accurate information is available to the department.
Respond to ad hoc information requests from Ad Sales by understanding requirements, compiling relevant data and interpreting into a clear and useful format.
Assist the Manager and VP of Research in developing and facilitating various analysis projects.
Qualifications - Bacheloregree required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in advertising sales research at a broadcast or cable network is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
- A familiarity with Startrak, Marketbreaks, NPOWER, MRI and Simmons preferred.
- A proven ability to learn and utilize various database systems is required.
- Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to multitask and handle special projects are required.
