POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Technical Analyst drives and executes the technical integration of Epic applications, Bon Secours security needs, and all Epic technical functionality (security, jobs, printers, etc.) per the defined Enterprise Operating Model. The Senior Technical Analyst will work collaboratively with Bon Secours IT leaders in making sure that needs of individual Bon Secours Facilities are accommodated under the standards resulting from the operating model design, standardization and implementation effort

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

1. Work requires the knowledge of the Epic Application administration and support normally acquired in a

minimum of four (4) years of progressive related work experience

2. Position requires experience with UNIX O/S and Cache as required to perform Application Support

responsibilities

3. Work requires a professional level of knowledge of I/S technological systems at a level generally

acquired through completion of a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science or

equivalent education and experience

4. Work requires the ability to interpret and execute Bon Secours Health System policies and procedures

for personal computers and Operating System network software. Work requires the understanding of

application deployment, management and Application implementation and management

5. Work requires logical analytical ability due to technical complexity of problems encountered to review or

conduct a variety of studies and reports to determine appropriate recommendations on technological

issues

6. Work requires substantial interpersonal skills necessary to deal successfully with a cross section of

internal customers and external vendors

Preferred Requirements

1. Previous experience installing and supporting EPIC CIS.

2. A minimum of fours years hands-on IT experience, managing and directing information Technology

implementation and support activities in an AIX/UNIX environment.

3. Knowledge of IT applications related to healthcare Clinical Information Systems.

4. Installation of vendor packages including compiling and linking application programs.
