Brief Description Completes and files all required forms necessary for the regulation of drilling, producing & completing wells. Coordinates completion of various environmental and regulatory plans.
Detailed Description - Prepares and submits required forms and permits for Onshore Wetlands and federal drilling and producing & completing wells in assigned areas.
- Interfaces with Governmental agencies.
- Provides research on regulatory issues.
- Analyzes and communicates new and changed governmental regulations to interested parties.
- Tracks environmental data covering drilling, well work and production activities.
- Coordinates preparation of Spill Response plans, Spill reporting procedures and Emergency Evacuation plans.
Job Requirements - Bachelors Degree and two years of regulatory experience ,or Associates Degree and three years of regulatory experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of Oil & Gas regulatory or accounting experience.
- Familiarity with proper procedures and government requirements for the submittal of regulatory permits.
- Proficient in new regulations NTL 06, NTL 10, and new drilling safety rules (deepwater analyst only).
- Knowledge of new NEPA requirements from BOEMRE Plan approval (deepwater analyst only).
- Knowledge of oilfield equipment and terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
