As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you will play an important role in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital by providing care support and service tasks. Functioning in two roles, you will assist patients on a multidisciplinary care team and assist the professional and paraprofessional staff by performing clerical and reception duties.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Certification from a Nursing Assistant Program and listed on the CNA registry with State and Federal eligibility required.
- Possesses knowledge normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years' experience as a nursing assistant in outpatient services beneficial.
- Two years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational technical adult education program for Health Unit Coordinators (VTAE) or an approved Health Unit Coordinator program, or training/education to meet job requirements preferred but not required.
