Job Overview General Mills is seeking a Senior Internal Controls Analyst to assist with the following responsibilities:
- Partner with individuals throughout various work processes globally. Provide internal control consultation and guidance.
- Assess risk for processes and transactions and provide control design input for mitigation.
- Oversee SOX testing process for areas of accountability.
- Evaluate internal control effectiveness and advise in the development of remediation plans as necessary. Communicate deficiency results.
- Participate in financial reporting process.
- Participate in accounting research projects as needed.
- Develop influencing skills and build business partner relationships through interaction with domestic and international contacts as part of various reporting processes.
Qualifications: - Bacheloregree in Accounting or related field required
- Masteregree in Accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
- At least 4 years of related experience, public accounting experience preferred
