A fantastic opportunity is available for an Business Analyst to join our Information Services team.
This role is responsible in the cross functional resource pool and must be capable of working in multi-functional teams representing IS to the business. The role will require effective communication and team skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on Business and Technical issues and a drive to achieve within set timelines and objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Play a key role within the Business Analyst pool, with specific focus on the Factory Cluster, structured either directly or indirectly depending on category/geography
- Key point of contact for Factory Cluster Group, ensuring involvement in all IS activities
- Service Level Agreement between IS functions to ensure streamline delivery of services
- Develop operating model and organisational dimension to meet key business priorities
- Develop governance process within customer base
- Help facilitate the creation of functional super user groups to support the delivery of global processes and programs
- Deliver programs which help to release the ROI from projects which have been delivered from within the IS and Business.
- Support and participate in Quality Systems and facility audits internal to the Salt Lake City site.
Business and Application Support
- Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user friendly language, continuously analysing and verifying requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Define resulting application changes and develop cost/benefit comparisons.
- Translation of conceptual user requirements into functional requirements
- Research, review and analyse effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leverage of the process
- Use of Investigation techniques e.g. interviews, workshops, observations, scenarios, prototyping, quantitative approaches
- Create process models, specifications, diagram and charts to provide direction to developers and or the project team
- Use data analysis tools to collate and analyse data to draw conclusions, identify trends and drive managerial actions and strategy
- Document and analyse existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures & models and make recommendations for process improvements
- Identify and realise potential value within existing applications
- Support and maintain standards within existing application suite
- Identification of workarounds or specification of system change requests to provide standard solutions to identified issues.
- Prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business process, operations and information process flow
- Perform cost benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions
- Develop budgets and time frames for process changes in order to support company objectives
Project Management
- Collaborate with Project Managers to determine project scope and vision
- Leadership of small projects through whole lifecycle Project management using RB methodology.
- Provide timely and good quality project deliverables as stipulated with the RM Project methodology and line manager. Manage delivery & development of project team members.
- Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines
- Working Knowledge of MS Project, MS SharePoint and MS Visio preferred.
- Ensure that Change Management is a key component to project implementation and deployments.
Is this You?
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification and methodology development
Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products
Experience in writing business feasibility reports and undertaking presentations.
Working technical knowledge of programming languages
Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems
Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards
Strong track record of contributing to projects and achieving results.
Proven experience of leading a project team, within a multinational, or FMCG Company.
Demonstrated project management skills
Proven experience in agile project methodologies (DSDM Atern or Prince 2) desirable
Able to exercise independent judgement and take action on it
Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem solving skills, logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail
Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent understanding of the organisations goals and objectives with a strong commercial and business awareness.
Exposure to matrix organisations beneficial
Exposure / working knowledge of ERP systems (J.D.Edwards / SAP preferred).
Three to five years of experience in an FDA regulated environment including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biological.
Working Knowledge of Verification and Validation using the V-Model.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Strong team player with proven skills to work effectively with others at all levels.
Strong organization skills and close attention to detail.
Exposure to ITIL environment; ITIL Foundation certification a plus * RB is a global business, candidates should be open to relocate internationally for career development and challenge
- The business language in RB is English, therefore fluency in English is essential and fluency in Spanish is advantageous
