Position Summary We are currently looking for a Business Analyst, to join the team at our headquarters, in Mentor, OH! This individual will be responsible for measuring and monitoring the contract renewal and warranty conversion processes; recommending and escalating issues to optimize closure rate performance and revenue growth. They will manage the Incentive Compensation Plan Metrics for the Contract Sales Representatives (CSA). They will also perform related analysis including, Servicedes for lost contracts, focus products and promotions, large Request for Proposals (RFP's), contract pricing, etc. and make appropriate recommendations from analysis.
Essential Functions - Measure and monitor critical process KPI's related to the contract renewal and warranty conversion processes using statistical process control methods. Make recommendations for improvements in outcomes and measurements to optimize closure rates and revenue growth.
- Manage Incentive Compensation Plan metrics for Contract Sales Representatives (CSA) accurately and timely
- Develop capability to highlight focus products opportunities and monitor outcomes
- Develop & manage Serviceshboard review process. Process will summarize analytics on lost contracts for review, discussion and action with Service Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Field leadership to improve retention and closure rates.
- Provide analytical support for large contract RFP's, making recommendations for pricing based on commercial factors including competitive challenges, established pricing across large related Customers, etc.
- Analyze contract pricing and propose changes based on changes in scope of work, similar products etc.
Skills & Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Math, or Engineering; MBA Preferred
- Business understanding, interest, and perspective
- Strong customer service orientation
- High level of personal motivation and a results oriented approach
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to listen carefully and adapt quickly
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Team oriented
