Position Responsibilities\Requirements:
Senior Business Analyst experienced in FIS host applications to support IMPACS (IM) and Combined Statements (SC). Requires the ability to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies and information systems. Applicant must be able to translate these business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfill the end-user/business requirements. Must be able to support full life-cycle for new projects (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation), as well as assist in providing resolution of production problems. Qualified applicants will be required to prepare project plans, estimates, functional design documents, test plans and other project related documentation, as well as lead large-scale testing efforts within the team.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience on IMPACS (IM) application required, with at least 2 years of experience at the Senior level. A knowledge of Combined Statements (SC) desired; knowledge of other FIS Systematics host systems a plus
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with ability to grasp complexities and relationship between issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in writing functional requirements, User documentation and training materials. Must be able to get the message across to a variety of audiences.
- Solid understanding of Retail Banking functions and business is required.
- Must demonstrate ability to act as lead BA on large projects (i.e., a project with duration of more than 6,000 hours or spanning more than 4 months) with minimal supervision.
- Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research.
- Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert.
- Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
