Technology Lead - US - Senior Consultant - US - Business Analyst
Essential Functions of the Job:
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
- At least 6+ years of experience in large IT transformation programs
- Proficient in Energy (Oil & Gas) domain and business processes (across upstream and downstream)
- Experience in defining business requirements and elaborating users stories
- Experience as a Business and Data Analysis in the Trading industry in Credit Risk functions
- Outlining and tracking Product Delivery and its impact on the Business Value Chain
- Hands-on experience in data analysis and exposure to at least one of the SQL editors
- Proven creativity with the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
- Experience in working with geographically disperse teams (i.e. non-co-located teams)
- Predisposition to working in large, multinational environments
- Analytical and Communication skills
- Analyze data model, business processes and enhance/build bespoke application to meet business requirements.
- Ability to inspire and convince others; to naturally build long term relationships based on trust and expertise
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
- Gather and document business requirements from business users as necessary
- Break down features into user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Conduct Power of 3 sessions to collaborate with dev/test teams
- Planning and Co-ordination skills
- Ability to inspire and convince others; to naturally build long term relationships based on trust and expertise
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and traceability matrix to for every feature to be delivered and demonstrate solution through flowcharts, layouts, visio diagrams etc
- Interact with internal/external team members and business users throughout the application life-cycle.
- Assist with release or change management process, identifying project risks and mitigation plans to ensure proper delivery of the project.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
