The FP&A Analyst - Senior, works closely with the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and leadership team to provide stakeholders with analysis and recommendations to realize Laser Spine Institutetrategic goals. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of Laser Spine Institute. This individual is responsible for the functional operations of collection and A/R management to include policy and procedure development, internal and external communications, statistical reporting, trend analysis and issue resolution for all of Laser Spine Institute medical offices and facilities. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to the leadership team including financial presentations, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities and other projects requested by Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This function acts as the analytical engine in respect to all things revenue for Laser Spine Institute and is expected to provide insight and support optimal business decision making through effective financial and business planning and management of business performance, keeping in mind both short term and long term goals.
Essential Functions - Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, accounts receivable, denials, and other revenue cycle functions
- Partner with leadership team to provide operational analysis and reporting to drive improvements in the revenue cycle
- Maintain and improve detailed financial models that track and analyze payor trends and their impact on the companyverall performance
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support leadership team with strategy focused and data driven business decisions
- Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
- Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports timize Flash and Dashboard reporting
- Develop and publish regular reporting to track results and progress against goals/KPIs
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and optimize processes
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership team for decision making purposes
- Support leadership team with in-depth analysis
- Prepare presentations to leadership team
- Provide general accounting support for monthly, quarterly and annual closings focused primarily on analysis of results in order to validate accruals
- Responsible for coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the FP&A discipline and creating a positive climate where people want to do their best
- Act as a true business partner to the operations group and be able through solid/timely analysis drive cost out of the business

Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
Experience: - 2+years experience in Healthcare or Finance
Preferred Qualifications: Education: - Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
Experience: - 1-2 years Laser Spine Institute Finance experience
